West Street Reservoir 2A – Parking Lot Expansion, Laguna Beach, CA South Coast Water District As the Structural Engineering consultant, KPR performed analysis and evaluation of the existing 500,000 gallon concrete reservoir as part of the Parking Lot Expansion project at the SCWD headquarters in Laguna Beach, CA. The evaluation of the existing 1940’s built reservoir included the study of new imposed traffic loading and modifications to the embankment and the associated hydro dynamic loads. A comparative engineering report was prepared to summarize the reservoir’s structural capacity in its current and proposed condition.
